Latest on Zola

Sorry it's been so long since we've written a post, but there hasn't been a whole lot of new exciting things with the pregnancy.

Let's start out with a dream I (Todd) had last night.  I dreamed that the midwife was doing an exam, and Zola accidentally slipped out early!  She started crying, which quickly turned to laughing.  Since Zola was a couple months too early, the midwife just shoved Zola right back into Jenevra!

Jenevra hasn't really gotten into the heavy pains that can occur late in labor (she's due in two months).  She's still swimming pretty regularly with no problem.  However, Zola has been kicking around pretty good, sometimes protruding out of her stomach!  Zola also likes to kick her bladder.

We are very close on deciding on a middle name.  Until we decide for sure, we'll keep it secret.  We've got weekly birth classes starting this Tuesday.  Every day when driving together, we've been listening to podcasts.  Having worked in a NICU, she's already a semi-expert on birthing, but until you give birth yourself, I guess you can't really be a true expert.

We went out and got a carseat a couple days ago.  We had one from before with the foster kids, but we had washed the straps, which apparently made it no longer safe!  We also have decided to go the cloth diaper route.  A little more work, I know, but certainly a money saver and more environmentally friendly.  Also, Zola's poops and pees will be less nasty than the average baby's. :)
